Work great, but will take some work
Installed these on a 6.0 LQ4/4l80e combo because space was very limited on my rock crawler. As others have said the collector bands do come extremely close to the bell housing/transmission ears which requires them to be cut or shaved down. If you’re okay with doing a little work to clearance these parts (which I knew would be the case) then these are great. I didn’t have a whole lot of options for a header to clear multiple components with my suspension so these didn’t trick!

M295 HV Melling pump
Package well, talk with melling tech about pump, same pump as 10296. Comes with red spring and optional blue spring with 8 to 10 lbs less also o-rings one green and one black with good instructions. Springs effects only higher psi for rpms to comply with 10psi per 1000 rpm. Both will have the same volume just lower psi at given rpms with blue @ 60 psi than red spring 70psi. Chosen this one for my needs stripe/Street motor 7000rpms. Rods .0025 and mains .0027 with oil cooler for ls built iron block. Useing red spring that came with it. After break in will be useing ls30 driven oil. This pump also good for high mileage motors. Good choice for either applications. Don’t use for fm or dod, use pump 10355 for theses. Will be building motor sometime next year and running the following year. Enjoy your next project. Happy Hollidays. Be safe.
