Go ahead and spend the $$ it’s worth it!
Bought this to replace a Z-Tech 4A adj. unit that just wouldn’t work due to my short neck.
This thing is so easy to get on and off, super comfortable and you can get in and out of the car easily even with a funny car cage! I drive an Altered so space is always tight!
The slider works well. Turning your head left and right is smooth and easy.
Hooking up the helmet latches by yourself takes a little practice, but once you learn the trick no issue at all.

I have used the hybrid sport for several years in both sprint car racing and drag racing. Went 7 time end over end in the sprint car wearing this neck device. Climbed out of the car with no injuries.
