Got theses injectors for my f10 n55. They’ve been on my car for about 6k miles and have no misfire so far.

Bought those injectors to replace the OEM units (that had the same manufacturer BOSCH and the same part #). The original ones got bad and started misfiring around 72k miles and 10 years, I hope these will last just as long or more.

I bought the kit of 6 injectors and the 6 decoupling elements, so please be sure you have those decoupling elements as well! They are needed. The kit is a little bit cheaper as well. Uninstalling these suckers was a bit tricky but I used a $20 vertical N55 eBay fuel injector removal tool. Learning any removal tool will take a second because of the reverse threading and direction to uninstall, but removal took about 30mins. When uninstalling it PLEASE match part numbers when they are removed from the old vs the new to calm your nerves, and then get the appropriate 3 digit number (N55’s have a 3 digit code/number on the very top whereas N54 has 6 digit code/number) to code these correctly. I did not do these 2 easy verification steps as I was skipping around on how-to’s and I put in a lot more work and one heck of a headache for myself trying to find out what these numbers were and doubting myself when I was seeing them and writing them down. This would of been so much easier for me if I had done it when they were out of the car and staring me int he face. They are relatively easy to verify and check when installed as they are visible, but I kept doubting myself and getting these injectors coded correctly with those exact numbers is crucial!!! You HAVE to code the injectors after install, so please be aware as to how to do that. I used the iOS ProTool app to code these numbers into the respective injector and it worked like a charm. The first start up had an engine warning code appear and very rough idle but I let it run for about 3mins and then shut it off and turned it back on and the cluster was error free and the engine was smooth. I’m not sure on horsepower I’m pushing but my car is full bolt on plus additional upgraded parts and I narrowed it down to my older injectors (99k miles) throwing misfires in 1 and 5 so I decided to swap them and my misfires stopped altogether. BMW has a lot of Bosch OEM parts, and I believe these are the exact injectors BMW uses but these are direct OE so it just doesn’t have the BMW logo on it.
