Ryan Lavacot from 2CarPros got a chance to properly build the very first engine he ever touched, a 302 cu. in. small block Ford out of a 1981 Bronco owned by a buddy’s mother. This time around Ryan did things right and turned the little Ford into a 347 cu. in. stroker that put down 441 hp and 438 lbs.-ft. of torque on the dyno.

Ryan pitched the stock cast iron cylinder heads for a pair of AFR 185cc Renegade aluminum heads fitted with Summit Racing™ aluminum roller rocker arms. Sitting between the heads is a Summit Racing™ MAX-efi 500 fuel injection system on a Summit Racing™ aluminum manifold. A Summit Racing™ billet distributor, coil, and 8.5mm ignition wires handle the spark.
